All the servo's I go to have the new digital pumps that you configure before connecting. To be sure I keep an extra guage in my glove box that I use to check accuracy. It cost me $5 from BP and I haven't had any issues with it. All the digital pumps I have come across have been accurate as well.
I hate people leaving the hose lying in the ground, dropping them, kinking them

. The one at my local Shell is so bent and worn that hose has 3 or 4 repairs and the clasp has long broken off. The old style mechanical ones are prone to damage as well so I tend to avoid them.
BTW (sorry for asking - especially if you already do it) do you check the pressure in your spare as well
