Try getting insurance for a motorbike..... :b:

Statistics are a funny old thing...insurance companies twist them as in your example, but the commonest time we see this is every holiday season, when police and government are seemingly perplexed that when you quickly throw double the amount of drivers onto the road, driving sometimes long highway distances they aren't accustomed to in a short time period, that the accident figures go up...they honestly seem confused as to why accidents happen more often in holiday times...when simple logic says, tragic as they are, it is only to be expected.
Once again, if you totalled the number of cars on the roads during hliday peak periods and indexed it against accidents during the same time scale, the percentage of accidents would probably be no more than at any "normal" non-holiday time of the year.

...but that sounds dangerously like common sense, and we'll have none of that malarky when we talk about road safety and increased fines and speed cameras thank you very much!!!
