Default motec and my aircon

aircon compressor isnt engaging, used to work fine prior to motec installation. would the motec be a problem?

yep. They haven't intergrated the air con control. (your original PCM did control it so when you boot it, it'd cut the compressor out)
Depending on the model you have you definatly can control compressor cut in and out with MOTEC thats for sure.
Ask the guys that fitted it for ya.

Had auto elec do mine you need to buy a new relay & run a 12v feed from battery from it connect to compressor, connection near front bar also + earth somthing like that.check with auto elec.

It can be done like this or get ur tuner to setup so air con kicks in with ecu.

I never had any aircon problems with my VS Calais following my Motec installation and no new relays or wiring were required (except possibly between the Motec and the PCM). The PCM should still control all the items (such as the auto trans) that are not handled by the Motec.
