OK guys, it's far too long since the whisperings about my going to Canberra.

There's a reason I need to get across there, but not one that warrants the drive right now - however....

If I can line up a full day - or two - of work, then you guys would be in the lucky position of acquiring a good reduction on travel fees. (due to the fact that I'm prepared to absorb some of those because of my need to be there...) I'm messing with the idea of a couple of days next week??

What's the general feeling on this?? I have a couple of other contacts with whom I'll be in touch shortly, if a few jobs can be booked in I'll be there!

I am in Canberra, I emaild you a few days ago re VT dash lights but havn't heard anything.
Have you finalised mods to the VT dash?

I want to change the dash to white LED's.

I can handle mode, headlight, power, trac, hazard etc but want to mod the main cluster and climate control including buttons if possible.

I hope you have got a kit for VT's.

im about an hour away from canberra, but im happy to make the trip if i can organise the time off work, as long as the VX modifications are capable, and always depending on price..... Im thinking the blue LED (excluding the headunit i have an aftermarket one) replacing all green ones, i have some blown bulbs in the original heater control (about 4 i think) but from what i've been reading this doesnt matter anyway because of the replacement LED lighting.

actually... i've just read you're in sydney, interested in making a quick stop in Goulburn on the way? thats where i am lol.

Hey Guys - I've had my boys at home this weekend, so I've been a little flat out.

OK, for the VT/VX pilots - guys, I know the website shows the conversion - I am finalising the boards now! (I promise, I am!!) : The truth is I can do it, but at a "prototype" level, and frankly that takes a LOT more time - in prep and job time - and so the cost would still be quite high. I've had a VT guinea-pig cluster for a little while now, and some engineering input from my good mate Ant in WA - and I have the board design almost finalised! I have been working on this for some time I know but at the moment my priority is the profitable jobs - sorry! Have to keep the wolf from the door....

Now - Goulburn - no hassle at all Maci - I would either stop there on the way to Canberra, or on the way back. Depending on when this trip takes place, I could possibly look after you on this run! Sofar the response is a little underwhelming to be brutally honest...

Have you had a look into VT/VX climate control? The buttons look like they can't be done easily as the green part is moulded inside the buttons themselves. If I do the VT dash I want to be able to do everything. So far only the climate control buttons and console PRND321 lights look unlikely.

If your coming to Canberra let me know, I would love to get this done, I have emailed you in the past about coming to Canberra. I have a HSV cluster sitting in the shed waiting to go in, and would like a blue conversion before it goes in.

Depending on how picky u r with ur colours ideally the guys with the climate control units cant b done as u said the buttons r made from a green plastic and can not b altered. Tho not my preference but u can still use blue but u'll always have that green tinge 2 it.

Console PRND321 can b done easy enough.
