Speedo not working properly

Hey guys, thought this forum be suitable for problem.
After fiddling with my cluster and putting needles back on all is fine except for the speedo. when ignition is turned on it goes down til it hits the fasia and sets it self off that. ie reading 16km's out or so. if i switch the ign on with my finger between it it sets it self perfect and is fine. what have i done and can i fix it?

Mayb u havent put the needle back on in its default position? check this using ur mode button by holding mode and the up n down buttons and turn the ignition on, so u can activate the hidden menu, u'll hear it beap and read the clusters part number on the lcd screen that tells u it worked, then scroll through till u find the check warning lights, u'll hear a constant buzzing sound and ur needles will also show u if they r in the correct possitions or not. fuel and temp should b half way marks, the tacho and 3000rpm and the speedo at 100km mark. hope this helps.

Thanks wrx 884, checked this again and reset the needle but for some reason only the speedo goes down when the ign is turned on, i cant figure it out.
