Hi There, I've got a 95 VS Statesman with the factory headunit and 10 disc stacker and wheel controls I don't want to loose these but do want an AUX in Feature and RCAout feature also is this something you can help with or are you mainly dealing with VT-> models?

What location are you in guys??

Whilst I haven't done these mods to these units, there's no reason in the world it wouldn't work. I'm happy to investigate the possibilities....

Ah, I just looked properly.... (oops!) LOL!!

Distance is the issue here folks.... Anyone from the Western Sydney area like these mods as well? And have the same stereo unit? If I can get a "guinea pig" I should be able to work something....

Hey guys, You can setup a Switch to gain AUX input RCA L/R IN eg: For Xbox/DVD/iPod Via the stacker cable.

Find the pinout there will be an Audio ground, a L & R channel aswell, You will also need to Switch the Mute wire.

When stackers are searching/no disc, It'll send a Mute signal to your headunit,
You remove that Mute signal & you can pass L & R channel via Stacker input.

    It's how I modified mine.

    Cheers

ah awesome, now just gotta brush up on my electrical stuff, seems pretty self forward though, I just can't imagine where to splice the switch into the cable? does it run down the centre console or sides? is it integrated with some car loom also or does it look just like plain cd changer cable?
