I just had Greg install his RCA outputs and Aux into my HU in my VY.

He also installed the front and rear speakers, sub, and wired up the amps.

    Sounds awesome.

I would assume you would need something like the RCA's to hook the amps to.

club355 - if you want to go about it the "nasty" way, you could run LOCs. If you want it to SOUND good, then I could possible arrange with Ant (my contact in Perth) to organise fitting a true pre-out buffer to your HU - it's quite easy to do with the right tools and experience, Ant has both.

I wouldnt expect anymore from Autobarn. You DONT need an aftermarket headunit to run the subs and amps, not when you have someone that can add PCU boards and RCA low level outputs etc that Greg fits.

The thing you have to keep in mind is some people in any "profession" talk a lot of shit about something they know little about, and feed it to people in effort to make themselves sound knowledgable or cool. They are just trying to sell you a deck, to make more money for them.

As I have posted above, Greg has done his work on my car from full LED's to Low level RCA outputs, amps, speakers and subs, and it sounds great.

I have always been a big fan of a stock looking system, and no headunits that dont match the interior of the car, they just look sad. So I opted for my stock headunit in my VY SS to be 'altered' to accommodate what I wanted.

Now it looks stock from the outside, but cranks once on

Still need Greg to add a few finishing touches in the next week or so.

Speak to Greg about getting the LLRCA's in yours, as I assume it can be done to yours as well.

LOL!! Yeah Skoob - you need to trot your butt over here and get that finished off 100%!!

(sorry Mate - I've been all over the shop, but thought you probably woulda been too...)

Give us a call or whatever anyhow Mick. Cheerz!

Oh, and by the way - if anyone at Autobarn, Stratho's, JB's, or any number of other "experts" - told me that the sky was blue, I'd walk outside and look up just to make sure....

In addition to what skooby posted, you'll also find it's cheaper than having to purchase an aftermarket head deck + CAT converter to retain your steering wheel controls.

With a line converter that gives u RCA outputs, will u still have your steering wheel controls?
