Default My Blaupunk 6 stack in dash states mech error

I have just bought a 05 VZ Lumina and the first disk I put in played fine, the very next day I enter a 2nd cd into the system and it states MECH error. I ejected the 2nd cd I entered when the MECH error occured yet it seems that the CD that was fine for 2 days in CD 1 is now causing the error as I cannot eject it and it wont play.I can play cds in other spaces but I think that im in for some bucks to fix the dam system, so does anyone know of a replacement system that fits into that giant gap that the original blaupunkt system takes up.

I contacted the original owner (my father in law) and he states he never once used the cd player since new. Is this sysytem the blaupunkt 6 disc in dash reliable or are there issues with it that you guys my know. This is my 1st commodore so i know nothing about there electronic reliability.

any help is appreciated. im in adelaide if anyone knows of a fair repairer.

Wowee that's a decent price. I've sold many of these 2nd hand, for well over $300.

    You guys amaze me....

How many times have I asked not to advertise other people's products IN MY FORUM????

Not even a mention that ASR just might be able to organise repairs....

I'm leaving this here to point out to everyone THAT I HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF THIS, and will be deleting the thread sometime tomorrow.

For anyone who takes exception to this, please take it up with the forum administrators. They're also getting a bit tired of people posting junk in this sub-forum, purely because ASR is at the top of the list of sponsors, and are right behind me.

    End of rant.

Chill out buddy. I asked a question and recieved some advice, if you wanna get shitty about people NOT recommending you then be FIRST with ADVICE. Dont act like a kid or that may be the reason people DONT use you. I thought these forums were about ADVICE and HELP not bitchin about issues you have with the posters in here. Why delete thread? that would make me wanna use you as it shows what type of service you may give. I ASKED about a good source of repairs in my initial question. You didnt reply anyhow.

there is an Audio forum... this is for ASR and they have paid for this forum.
So why don't you post in the correct forum in the first place.

Exactly - Thanks Kev, that's my point.

Just because the ASR forum happens to be at the TOP of the sponsor's list, and the sponsor's forums are at the top for a reason as well, posts are placed in here rather than the correct place.

Oh, and if you'd like to question the quality of service I provide.... I would strongly suggest you check that with some - any of them will do - of my customers.
