Question VT stock HU sub and amp

Just wondering if it's possible to connect up a sub and amp using the stock HU in my VT?
If so does anyone have a wiring diagram and also who knows of some good audio shops that could do it if I need to?
    Cheers

Phreddy can do it, there is a post in here that explains that he has made LLRCA (low level RCA) outputs, exactly what you need. (where it is im not sure)

    but thats what you want.

if its the same setup as the VX then im sure i could help u. about a week ago i was in the same position mate. wanted to keep my stock head unit, but wanted a sub and amp. you need a line out converter from your local autobarn or somethin. then tap into your speaker wires with that.run ur rca cords fromt he converter down hte right side of the car under carpet trim, then ur opwer cord from ur positive terminal through the firewall and under the carpet trim on the left side of your car. hook up your remote wire to the accessories cable from behind the head unit which is yellow from memory and run that down with your RCA's. then put them under your seat and into the trunk and attach all to your amp.. find a ground bolt or something for negative and then some speaker wire from the sub to amp. I hooked up a 600Watt sub to a 2 channel 600Watt amp and i just bridged it and tuned a little. took me bout 3 - 4 hours for everything. but worth it mate!!!! sounds real good! message me if u need help with anything specific

Exactly Jak - getting well and truly over this.....

Yes I can help. I can help PROPERLY. If you want it to actually sound GOOD that is.... If you just want to hang with the MaccaNats crowd making nasty noises, then the LOC would probably do the job.
