Just wanted to say thanks to Greg for the top work he carried out on friday with a full dash VT light conversion, we went the white and blue it look unreal top works and thanks again. pics to follow.

Wow that looks brilliant. We considered getting the VT done after I had the VZ modded to Blue, but the wife liked the original VT green dash - go figure

VT-VX - Full conversion - $310 without stereo, $350 with stereo. manual $25 less (inc 3 window cluster)

VY-VE Is actually a little cheaper.

phreddy are you an auto elec? Just wondering cause I am considering getting this done, but am having a problem with my right headlight blowing everytime i turn my headlights on, along with high beams flicking on - just wondering if youd be able to kill two birds with one stone haha

Well this vt has only hi and low for the dimming, when you switch between the two there is only a very small difference

No its not a easy DIY job there is a lot of custom work involved

x2... You'd need to be extremely good with a soldering iron.....

DIY kit is available for VY-VZ but not for VT-VX

Hey Phreddy... forgive me if this is a stupid question but do you know of anyone here in NZ that does your kind of work? Aside from shipping my entire dash to you I'm kinda stuck. I know this might be a weird question but any help would be really appreciated.
