    Question modded headunit in a standard car

    Okay so i have the vy ss six stacker with blaupunkt unit, which has the phreddy options, im wondering if i was to put this headunit in another vy that hasn't been modified will it all fit? i only need to do this to recode the headunit.

    You will need to swap the cage that houses the deck as well, also any wiring that has been installed

    by looking at what phreddy did, its literally just like putting in a new cd player. . . . and depending on where your aux in and low outputs are placed you move those as well. (hope that made sense)

    um i think i get you but i dont think my question made sense. when the cd players are modified, there is a little black thing which all the plugs go into . this is glued just above the old plug. my question is. if i was to try put my modded cd player in a car with the cage that isn't modded with the little black thing hit?

    yes ur unit will work inside another car as a standard unit it'll need the code 4 it tho which im guessing is wat ur tryna retrieve?

    I thought that phreddy glued the connecting plug into the cage, but its been a while since he did mine so i might have been confused with him cutting the cage and not fitting the plug to it.
    either way you will have to pull out the cage fom the new car and cut it so you might as well just change them over
