[NSW] ASR-Audio Photoshoot - 30th January at Silverwater Boat Ramp

Hi All,

We started talking about the possiblity of a photoshoot several months ago but unfortunately due several disctractions (including the birth of my daughter) the idea fell into the "maybe later" tray.

Myself, Torquative & Mr. Phreddy himself are very keen to get this done & we are asking you all for assistance & obviously to gauge the interest from Greg's current & possible future customers.

Basically we would be looking to organise this for a Saturday night purely for the reason that any lighting shots are best taken in the dark of the night.

Effective 20th January These are our current plans: (thanks to Matt for doing the leg work)

Its called "Wilson Park" -if your coming from the M4/Parramatta Road go to Clyde Street and Silverwater Road. Theres a set of traffic lights just before the bridge over the Parramatta River, with a big sign that points right and says "Olympic Park" and tells you busses only.

Go down that road, you'll see Wilson Park to your left which goes down and around. Once you turn at the lights you cant miss it, you'll find us somewhere there!!

you know I'm up for it ... but I need to get Greg to install the foot well lighting first

Also guys and girls if there enough interest we might finish the night with a nice dinner at Hogs Breath or somewhere, which will be purely optional for those that just want to head home

I might be keen just depends on the location realy

for me a good area might be silverwater somewhere as it kinda half way from gregs place and mine.

Rich, lets treat this like a cruise coz the "gauging interest" never works ...

Why don't we agree on Parramatta/Silverwater as the location so people know how far they'll be travelling, with an exact location TBA (There is a big carpark in an industrial estate that comes to mind thats just 5 minutes away off Victoria Road, or the Silverwater boat ramp comes to mind too as a secluded spot but I could be wrong it could be busy or locked, that said if anyone has any ideas please speak up), lets set a date and a time ... that way everyone knows what's going on and whether a) they are able to attend on that date/time and b) whether their prepared to travel that far.

Just a suggestion to get this thing rolling ...

Although i dont have any mods done by phreddy as yet i wouldnt mind coming along for some pics? sounds good would like some professional shots... haha n get to other members cars n phreddys work in person.

This WONT be exclusive to Phreddy customers, it's also a chance for people to have a look at Gregs work and see what they want done to their cars!!

Its one thing to read about everyones thoughts and opinions on a forum, but its another thing to see it in real life - especially the lighting stuff.

Richie, I'll be heading down to Silverwater this week so I'll suss out the boat ramp and see if theres any lockout times on the gates.

This is really exciting, although I have had mine Phreddy'd it also gives me the chance to view everyone elses cars. I think the same goes for everyone else wishing to come.

I'd be keen. I'm happy to travel. I'm in the Liverpool area but driving is most of the fun anyway!

I'm keen on dash lighting mods but have other priorities at the moment but I'd love to see some in real life!

7:00pm for daylight photos, then into the twilight/night for night time photos.

We'll finish the night off with a kebab just outside of Parramatta for those interested in some dinner (no we wont compete in the Church Street happy lap/sound off parade that happens every Saturday night)

I have a carpark in mind at Rydalmere (between Parramatta and Silverwater), its big enough to fit everyone but also out of the way enough not to cause issues, it sits in an industrial area just off Victoria Road. Afterall a group of Commodores at night just shouts "come here officers", although we wouldnt have an issue if mr plod did stop by because were not doing or planning on doing anything wrong, its not really something we want to be dealing with.

Your thoughts?

This is bloody fantastic guys....

I wish to here and now - and very publicly - pass my most sincere THANK YOU to both Richie and Matt for taking the step to get this organised. You guys are a marvellous help to me with the "behind the scenes" work you do - and let me assure everyone that the only thing these guys really receive from all this is a good feeling that they've helped me out. Believe me fellas, all this will come back to you.

Now - on to the subject here.... I'm gonna make sure I'm there - firstly to meet & greet some old customers, and hopefully some new ones as well. I'll make sure I have the Stato sorted out too, get some decent pix of her!

Anyhow, keep up the interest everyone! The more the merrier.
