Guys, I need some jobs... PLEEZ!!

G'day all.

I'm getting plenty of interest, but at the moment everyone is saying "....yeh, in a couple of weeks...", or "...yeh, in a month or so..."

Trouble is, in a couple of weeks I will have gone under. OK, there - I've said it. Whether that helps or hurts my cause, well....

I know I've been hard to get hold of for the past several weeks, but I have been absolutely flat out on the course I was doing, it didn't leave me any time at all. I've lost count of the number of nights I was up until 2 or 3 am finishing assignments.... That is of course a double edged sword - it was very difficult for me to get any real work done during this time, which meant I couldn't bring much in - and now I'm in a situation where I NEED SOME JOBS BOOKED IN!! Not in two weeks or a month, right bloody now would be better.

For the second time now I'm thinking that I might be better off just pumping gas or delivering pizzas. If this folds up on me again, then it truly is all over. That's obviously not what I want, after all the work I have put into this - but if I don't get some cash soon, I'll lose the house, and could possibly be declared bankrupt. I don't want to bludge on the government, those who know me are aware that I work pretty hard - but I'm just about knackered at the moment folks.... I'm not standing with my hand out waiting for people to GIVE it to me, I'm fully prepared to work for it - but right now I'm wondering if it was all a big mistake.

IF I get my car back this week (transmission packed it in so it got towed to a mechanic this time last weekend and I haven't heard or seen it since) I'll find a way to get the foot well lighting done.

Thats assuming I get it back during the week and Im not up for the cost of a replacement tranny, it may have to get towed to a transmission place who wont look at it til at least Wednesday, maybe even later if my mechanic cant solve it.

But anyway thats my dramas, you have your own to worry about!

I'll let you know mid week if I have a car we can do something too, unless you want to pimp out my Kmart special push bike!!!!

G'day Matt - No worries Mate, the reason for delaying yours is a very valid one...

Don't get me wrong everyone.... I understand that things crop up, they do for me too....

I re-iterate - I don't want anything for nothing, I never have. I'm happy to do "the job" - and as far as I know everyone has been happy with the work done. (If that isn't the case, for goodness' sake SING OUT!!)

I'm not sure whether folks are nervous about me possibly NOT making it, and folding up anyway - well the point is that without jobs coming in then that's a definite - and sooner rather than later. I've poured every penny I can into this - even sacrificed the most beautiful car I've ever owned, trying to get this going - and the six weeks of training I've done has been incredibly beneficial towards building my "business skills" to make sure that I run this all properly - for me, and my kids into the future....

As mentioned, it might well be hurting my cause to say this publicly the way I am, but I don't have any option. I want to be here for all the guys who might want my services, I just hope to Christ I can continue to be.

I have a the cluster that I have been thinking of doing in the VX. Better now then later when it may not even get done. Just need to dig the old cluster out to use in the mean time.

Do you have a price on 4 channel RCA output and aux in conversion? Thinking of getting a stereo off ebay sent directly to you then preddifying it and sending it back to me. Did you get round to making a custom sub box for vy? Could be pretty keen on one of those too.

LOL!! Yeah, that would be good Kal.... Long trip though, need some $ resources behind me before I can head off on a journey like that....

That being said though, I am working towards getting up that way - although what I'll need is some significant numbers to make a journey like that worthwhile.

Peanuts - do you mean for the gauge scales? I haven't tried that colour in VT/VX yet, but I think it would work out fine.

Greg I'd strongly reccomend answering your phone, or getting back to people that leave a message, especially with these people now busting to get work done to get ya out of strife.

I realise you cant always answer it for various reasons, but it wont take much for people to lose interest in chasing ya for work, and spend their money elsewhere.

Perhaps you need to give people a certain time to ring when you know your going to be able to answer the phone and have a quick chat, like "ring after 7pm"??? coz at the moment I think alot of people are ringing during the day when your busy with the course and unable to answer calls.
