Some old images from ASR ;)

Well while looking for pictures of a car accident last night I came apon some old images of Phreddy's first ever paying job upgrading the VZ Commodore Dash. He had completed his own car before attacking mine, and it was a great thing to watch him work, but also a little unnerving watching some stranger rip apart my 7 month old cars dash and center console.

Would I suggest people get the work done? Heck yes. The quality is excellent, the results speak for themselves. I was very happy with the upgrade & have recommended more than 1 person to join the forum & chat with Phreddy about color changes to their car as well.

Heck yeah - go ahead. If you want the full res images just PM me. I gave these to Phreddy when he did the upgrade - there is about 100 images of the upgrade to my car that he was planning to use as a "how to"

mmmm Greg what do you think of the idea of attaching an image or 2 to the FAQs for lighting when it comes to "can i do it myself" and just show the amount of detail and dis-assembly that is required to even start soldering... might show people how hard it really is to get it 100%

I asked this question in another thread but have not seen a pic yet, does anyone have a pic of a climate control dash for a VT in blue?

I am wanting to get my Calais done soon but would like to see a pic of it first and also is it possible to change the lights in my power window switches (I had to replace mine with a red VX one)

Yeh you can get the power window switches done easily, I have pics of my conversion which has climate control but the camera doesnt shop up the colour very well, it looks more like a pale sky blue instead of the dark blue that it really is.

Oh, and Jason - had some trouble getting the double-sided tape for those strips, I use one particular type these days 'coz the cheaper stuff lets go after a while. I should get that tomorrow, and at last your footwell strips will be on the way...
