Default Phreddy's install on my Vy ute. Amazing work, with factory looking results.

So I eagerly awaited this roadshow for about a year. And It was 100% worth the wait.

Greg was just brilliant, and I can't say enough good things about the quality of his work and quality of his character. I sat and watched him for 10hrs, toiling away with my pride and joy.
Normally any work being undertaken on my ute on edge about as I have had to many cowboys try and screw me, but Greg was so professional and well prepared. Not once did I feel he was out of depth.

to anyone still on the fence, Get it done! you won't be dissapointed.

    Before:

    Setting up:

    stripped centre console:

    dissambley of the head unit:

installing the AUX in and RCA preouts:

    AUX in mod:

pin connector on the back of head unit:

RCA outs + connectors attached on the back of the head unit cage

Tapping into the interior illumination wiring for the foot wells and puddle lights

    installation of puddle lights:

    installation of foot well lights:

    dash cluster modding:

    final product:

A professional top notch job, and i love the fact that it all looks OEM. perfection is the word I'm looking for.

I agree - yours looks great. I had the VE low level outputs, Amp and rear speakers installed last week and all I can say is WOW. Greg's work is great, you can barely see any of the work he did here (but you can sure hear it), and I even had to point out the work done to my son. I'll give the car a clean & take some pics later to show you the work.

Was around $650 all up which includes the $90 deposit which pays for his fuel and accomadation for the road trip. He came to Brisbane around DEC 20ish. He is coming to QLD again at the end of the month.

Obvioulsy the deposit has to be paid upfront so he can confirm your booking. I'm sure he would make a killing in townsville but that is 25-30hrs away from Sydney and he brings his own vehicle with all his gear.
i would say if there was enough interest and then he would most probably head up that way.

New pics of the amp and subs setup.

    mid January XMAS time

Wiring amp. Had 8AWG amp wire, but the sub was going to protect mode, so got 2AWG instead

Amp and 1 of the subs in custom sub box to fit VU-VZ ute. Kicker 12" comps. 1 behind passenger seat and 1 behind the drivers seat.

I have also installed the JBL 607c in the doors and dash. all speakers are directly wired into the amp and the difference in sound quality is amazing.
