After a long wait time where Greg or I had plans or were unavailable to meet up to get the work done, I finally have the amp and speakers in the SV6.
Specs are:
Front Speakers - JBL GTO608C 6.5" Splits (2 Ohm, 70W RMS, 210W Max)
Rear Speakers - JBL P963 6*9 (2 Ohm, 110W RMS, 330W Max)
Amp - JBL GT5-A604 (4*80w into 2ohms, 640W peak)
Head Unit - 4 chan Low Level Out
Nothing massively powerful, but still nice to listen to
The pics show the boot with the amp, as well as the 6*9's sitting into the boot space, held in place by Greg's custom made fibreglass bases (No pics of them, sorry). The 6*9's are covered by a replica of the holden grill used in some models of the car. This gives a cleaner look that actually is hard to notice unless you really look for it.
No pics of the front speakers as they look stock, as does the head unit - thats the beauty of this upgrade. I have enough blinking lights on my house at Christmas (55,000 computer controlled lights to be exact) so I dont need a flashy looking stereo, just something that sounds nice
Only one thing needs to be added later - a small pre-amp on the aux in as the iPhone is a little quiet compared to the radio & 6 stack CD, so it needs to be brought up a little.
I am VERY happy with the work, but due to commitments on both sides, it took a little longer than Greg and I had hoped.
Next addition - Puddle Lights - they look awsome![]()
Ride: MY10 VE SV6, Poison Ivy, White LED Footwell and boot lighting, JBL GTO608C front speakers, JBL 6*9 rears, JBL 4 chan amp and low level outs in the head unit

Greg was just brilliant, and I can't say enough good things about the quality of his work and quality of his character. I sat and watched him for 10hrs, toiling away with my pride and joy.
Very slim, but it does happen. You shouldn't dye your eyelashes with hair dye though. Its very dangerous and says it could blind you on the box.
