Unhappy Indicators stopped working and I am not sure why ?

    Hi

Today driving home my indicators stop working (both externally and internally on the dash board). This included the hazard button. I assume fuze so I had a look at home.

I noted that locking unlocking the car I can see the indicator lights flash so I have no blown bulbs.

I replaced the flashing unit (SIEMEN GM-PA6-GF30) 2/4x21W 12V (Part 92076941 I think). Replacing this flasher unit allowed me to use the Hazard lights and I checked that all 4 indicator bulbs are working. However after turning off the hazard button I turned the key to power on and turned the indicators on. Nothing ??? I assume therefore the Indicator fuze was blown, but it is not. Further more I check all other fuzes and they are good.

So my question is WTF else is wrong? Could the computer be playing up ? Am I missing something ? I worried that if I take the car to an auto-electrician that I will be charged a couple of hundred dollars which I don't have atm.

Also I need to pick up a flasher unit - where is this best place (Autobarn / Supercheap) etc and what are they worth ?

Finally I don't beleive this is related but I have noted over the past 6 months that while driving the ABS and TRACKion control lights come on the dashboard. It hapens after around 10 mins of driving ? I am wondering if this is computer related or again something else ?

Thanks for reading my post and answering my queries

ok my bad. I should have search the forums first.

The prolem is 2 fold. My flasher unit is stuffed so I need a new one. This is the big black box with 3 prongs. On the VX2 it is in the upper left of the fuze box. I stole my wifes commodore flasher unit and installed it and the hazard lights work well.

So why not the indicators by them selves. When after reading the FAQs people were talking about the hazard switch and pulling it in and out. WTF I don't want to have to pull the dash board off. But what they meant is the Hazard S/W fuze box which in the VX2 is on the right of the fuze box. It is also a large box type fuze and there are 3 of the same type. I pulled out one and swapped it with antoher and all good.

Hope my response helps some one else.
