How do I change the lightbulb in my boot?

Just wondering if putting a neon light bulb in my boot would work, if so, how do you put it in?
I tried removing the case as it is in the interior light, but it wouldn't budge.
Should I clench my balls and be a bit rougher or is there a trick to it?

Dont know if the vt is the same as the vs in the lighting aspect but i ripped the old casing out of mine and re-wired it to the neons. Did the same to the glovebox. If its the same sort of case then yeah, needs some force.

get a really small thin flat blade screwdriver and prise it open from the inside of the boot part of the light casing... does take a smidge of force but not too much
