Shifter lights broken & dash cluster dimming

About 2-3 months ago when Greg was down in Melbourne I got a full lighting conversion & RCA pre-outs on my 2008 VE Omega.

Yesterday the shifter lights (which were changed to white LEDs) started flickering, and then just turned off.

Any thoughts on how this can be fixed? Also, when I turn off the engine, all of the dash cluster lights (Speedo, RPM, etc) instantly dim. Is this normal? Maybe I never noticed before I had the lights done.

(Just a side note that everything else is fine and I love how the lights look!)

Dash lighting will dim when you turn off the engine because the voltage drops from alternator voltage (13-14v) to battery voltage (12v). This is usually more prevalent with white/blue LEDs then red/yellow/green.

The flickering will just be a loose connection under the shifter.
