Yep, after numerous hours scanning the interweb, Phreddy has delivered the promised goods on a recalibration of a sv6 cluster (ebay purchase)
A pleasure doing business with him and He really knows his gear. I was told an hour would be the deal, but if we werent talking shop on Holdens it would have been 30 minutes.
Still the best 80 clams I spent in a long time. All the garbage you read about clusters not being programmable or over 100000 km's not undoable is crap. I vouch for that.
My original cluster was from Acclaim wagon (11/05) and had 66000 on it. Phreddy did the deal on my replacement which had 226000 and was able to configure it to 66,200 which was within 25km of the target. Totally cool.
His tools dont include Tech2 but what He has is better. Electronics boffins are cool dudes.
If you need cluster repair or recalibration or colour change on a Holden cluster, I recommend this dude.
His magnifier goggles are like something out of a jewellers basement!
