all features are retained in this. all that is changed is the lights not the wiring or anything like that

that shift light on the GTO dash...is that just on the GTO dash??

hi to all
here is conversion done in yellow / amber it was put in my vzss devill yellow in colour
phreddy supplied the kit to me her in SA and i got some one to install it
wont mention name because trying to get both phreddy and installer to possible work together win win for both
phreddys customer service was ecxellent in regards to what you want and the pitfalls of trying to do it yourself dont ( get an expert to do it )

Heh - thanks Rich, although it wasn't my idea.... If you have a look at a VY/VZ Calais, or a Munro, or several HSV models, they have the white gauges. I just cloned that!

Hey phreddy, you've got some great examples of your work out there now!

Dunno why but the other day that colour changing needle idea crossed my mind, will you be attempting this at all? I'm keen to give it a go on my vs level 3 dash when i eventually take it out again (friggin middle lcd window's losing segments

), for the time being will bugger around with my old level 2 dash.

Anyway just wanted to know your point of view on this. Cheers mate

I have my VY2 Berlina booked in sunday, for a white led mod.
I'll post some before and after pics, I cant wait for it.

Don't freak out when your dash is in a million different pieces, let the doctor do his work... you'll love it!

Well today i had the pleasure of driving to the countryside and getting a white led mod and a radio mod done. The fosgate sound gear is going in 2 weeks time.
I took some before and after shots. I forgot to put the climate control on in the before shots, but you can guess what it would have looked like. Photos were from my phone.

The speedo and the tacho's needles start to turn red as u get to about 4000rpm and 80km's....very hot, i had no intention of getting it done, but its what i like most about the mods. Highly reccomend it when u get work by Phreddy done.

yeah its a very good job by phreddy. the neddle changing colour is like its out of a street machine :P
The radio has a yellow tinge to the white colour, compared the the white climate control, due the the different reflector thingo used.
The white window buttons in the back looks cool too! rch im a big fan of your interior since i saw the pic first off, looks very swarve
