on the Vx's, do you just replace the globes with LEDS/ SMD or do they come with new sockets already attatched to the new globes? cos if its just a globe socket swap i wanna order some amber LEDs for mine

some do some dont but as 4 the cluster mainly 4 instance u cant get away with just a simple globe replacement with an LED, a whole new PCB board gets made and put inside these 2 get the best lighting effect out of it.

Theres still no way around it, the only solution is 2 physically remake the buttons themselves 2 a white plastic.

hey guys,

Just had the VY dash done by ANT over here in perth.

First off all, Ant, your a f***ing legend! Driven the car for the first time this evening since iv had it done, and became a instant hazard on the road as i could not take my eyes off the cluster.

Iv pritty much done the same as JEZZA (at the top of this page). White guages with blue needles, white gear selector, and blue everything else, except for the TC and PWR button, which on ANTs advice, i did red. Breaks up the colour and keeps it intreasting. ohh and the LCD trip screen i changed to White at last min, which in my opinon looks a little cleaner then the blue, not that the blue looks bad at all. Got a double din after market head unit so nothing on the radio was changed.

Wasnt planning on posting pics as there are alot similar on here, but if you guys would like to see some just let me know and i shall attept to take some (not got the best camara in the world).

So yeh, massive thanks to Phreddy and Ant for developing this, an inexpesive yet effective mod. keep up the good work guys!

spOOlin that doesnt look 2 bad even with the green still there. Did Greg use his own batch of green LEDs there or did he leave the originals in there? they do look a better green in those pics.

They are still original green LCD's. But the stereo and instrument cluster are less than a year old...

perhaps that is why.

Well all i can say is that Ant does a fantastic job!
was over there on friday and did a swap over on my dash, climate control, windows, t/c and power buttons etc to complete blue & white setup.


Also swapped the high beam light for orange and my indicators to red, they both stand out greatly against the blue & white everything else.

Had Ant sort my dash out today.
Still got more things to come though, here's some pics. I'm very pleased with end result, much more pleasant to look at!
The service provided by Ant is fantastic, he does a great job and is a very friendly guy and happy to explain things, show you what's going on and have a general chat.
Much appreciated mate, I look forward to when we can do the rest

My gf's brother even commented how cool it looks from the outside through the tint etc after he walked back to the car tonight, he said everything can be seen quite nicely from the outside too.
