Back in business
hi all
phreddy (greg) and myself have been talking and i said i would front some of the cash for him so he could get back on his feet and start the business back up. What i need to know is how many people are keen to get dash installs and aux audio input or amp pre outs installed in there car in the sydney area and if so list wat u would like done the prices will need to be changed to avoid running out of funds but nothing major greg and i need to talk about this more there will need to be a 10% deposit on all jobs done u will be booked in for a certin day to have all work done to your car.

I was lucky enough to get the "full house" phreddy job done over 12 months ago now, so I don't need anything else.
There's a member here by the name of tempest who was yesterday enquiring about the RCA output mod in the sticky thread "MP3 through standard sound system". I've referred him to this thread, but you might want to PM him?
...I also suggest you post that same post above in all of phreddy's threads. Good luck to you both...

Hi there, only new to this.. but have read quite alot of these threads, had even emailed you at "info@asr-audio.com.au" having not realised you were restructureing...
...though i live in melbourne, i did purchase a modified head unit from a bloke in sydney, and with having just realised how much he had ripped me off (compared to what he would have paid for you to do the modifing), he never even shipped the "input mod" (switch and socket) either.
...if you guys would be happpy to service individuals here in melbourne, i would happily purchase the upgraded blackout switch along with the socket, being all assembled, ....ready to be installed.

...and also, once i've finished this stereo system, i'm looking at purchasing another VY Commordore, and would want to post you the head unit from that vehicle for the Combo package to be partially installed, ready for me to refit the H/U, Socket and Switch...
...if the D.I.Y. Dash Kits come with detailed instructions, i would purchase a full conversion kit both now and one later (a few months)

Can you please come to Brisbane again? I have just gotten myself an SV6 and am dying for the aux input setup. I will gladly pay $$$ to cover the travel and installation expenses...and i think there still maybe a few more in Brissie around....

mine's getting some MORE work done right now. 
Shnobble, if you've got a spare weekend, just drive it down to Sydney. Thats what i did. It could be a while till the next roadshow. But be carefull on the way back, if you get the dash done as well you should take the time to have a good gawk at it before you start driving.

Hey guys - sorry I've been a bit quiet.
Been concentrating pretty hard on getting a job, and I'm pleased to say I got one. 
Anyhow, I'm planning on keeping this up, but within the constraints of my full-time job. That still leaves plenty of options for those not in the Sydney area, even so it doesn't rule out any more road trips - they will just be a bit further apart than first planned.
Anyways, shnobble - there are a couple of options open to you anyways - I'll PM you in the next couple of days and we'll see what we can sort out.
I gotta go for now, thanks again for the work Noel.
