is there going to be a kit for the VE ???

hi. my dads has a VE SS and is has the red lights all though it and it is not the easiest colour on the eyes, it seems to have a lot of glare effect to it.

will there be a kit for the VE's or is he just stuck with the red.

does anyone else find this with their VE

i was talking to phreddy a couple of weeks ago and he said he was going to be doing his first ve soon. he will probably make a kit after that, so he will know exactly what is needed.

Hmmm - might be a bit of a delay guys.

(damn! some bloke reckoned he had a mate who wanted it done, now haven't heard from him.)

I'll restate the offer I made in the post from the VE forum - anyone who's prepared to have me do the first job on their VE will receive a substantial discount.

I recently got the dashlight mod and the audio in mod done on my VZ SS ute and could not be happier with the expertise and professionalism shown by Phreddy. As soon as I can get some good pics I`ll post them up in here, anyone who wants to get it done but is a bit hesitant is welcome to give me a call on 0417758840.
PS. Phreddy, I got the other buttons and the bezel and hafta say I`m really pleased with the finished product. Thanks mate for a job well done.

i m from grafton northern NSW. 1 hour north of coffs harbour so it is a bit far. unlucky for us ay.

I think there is a market to covert the red LED's to something less agressive. Has anyone got any contacts or ideas.

id be glad to be the first to change the red dials on the VE, maybe white? let me know phreddy how much this would set me back being the first...

Hi, I have just joined this site....I have a VE Maloo R8 & have recently spoken with Greg.....hopefully he'll be doing my car in the near future...Can't wait to get rid of red Led's & get white Led's instead, Cheers...

Nevsvr - I sent you a PM a little while back, haven't heard back from you. I'm still keen to go ahead with a full conversion. I've had another couple of nibbles, but you got in before them - I won't wait forever though!

I've done the cluster from the VE now, so that part is cool - thanks Mick, champion! - I just need the opportunity to get at the rest of the switchgear and so on. Very encouraging results sofar, so I'm keen to get on with a full conversion.
