:O That's some pretty fancy stuff. I've allways thought modified clusters looked rubbish until right about now

    Cheers greenfoam,

And even the pictures dont do the contrast justice, they are so sharp and bright - its beautiful!!!

Im going to get another photo of it from the back passenger seat, looking over the whole dash - or try to tonight.. it has the stock headunit back in colour coded of course!

To anyone who has seen me doing this work....

PLEASE do not detail the procedure here, or anywhere else in the public domain!!! It took me quite some time to figure out exactly how to do this, and I need to make my living out of doing this stuff now....

Sorry boys, but If the disussion progresses to just how this is done, I'll be closing the thread - perhaps deleting it. By all means talk about how nice you think it looks, and what the visual effect is in general , but PLEASE - no discussion on my techniques. I don't run a "closed workshop", as I try to maintain a friendly atmosphere - that does allow for my techniques to be observed I guess, but I'd rather not have to change that. But I do need to make certain that I can exist from month to month - know what I mean??

(just covering my butt, that's all...)

Don't worry too much Phreddy, Im sure all/most of your customers would have your best interests in mind.. I usually point them in your direction, and if they still ask, I'll just ignore them!!

You're a good bloke, really doing all of us a favour - getting rid of that unsighty green!! and giving our cars 'the edge' over other commys out there..

Feel free to delete certain posts/threads as you need to keep your trade secrets, (hopefully that won't happen anytime soon.. im sure we'll all understand if it happens!!)

And while im here - have you got a few (x 4) footwell lights?? and a couple of number plate lights down there made up for me!!!??? Maybe an interior light??? lol..

How was Queensland too?? A few happy customers??

Phreddy uses his fancy machine to write them on there, you are limited by the amount of letters and numbers though, like the HSV models. On start up they say "Clubsport 199" ie: its a Clubsport build number 199, etc.. (on my VY, I could only have 3 numbers, I wanted the year model, so I put 003 = 2003, but I think on the VZ's you can have 4 numbers, so it would've worked well for me, wanting 2003)

Different models have different amounts of numbers/letters, so ask 'The Man' and he should be able to let you know...
