yeh Im thinking perhaps a 4:30ish meet so it leads into dusk then onto night, that way you can get photos of cars during daylight and also at night.

Im also thinking perhaps Parramatta, as this is fairly central for everyone? I'll suss out a few spots on the weekend and should have something sorted by early next week so we can get this happening.

The other thing is Richie if ya want we can setup perhaps one at Parramatta and one at Campbelltown or Liverpool way across 2 nights? Coz I cant see people travelling an hour just for 2 or 3 photos of the interior of their car and Im sure we would prefer a few different cars.

I'm willing to travel the 1.5/2 hour trip down from the Central Coast, in the process hopefully going over to see Greg again, to get 4 x footwell lights, and a set of number plate lights, while im down that way...

If the day/night suits, and if 'another' VY dash is needed, I know i'd really like a few good shots of my dash in action. Even a video of the colour morphing needles doing their thing.

What Im going to try to do is organise a Saturday night if I can with the option of grabbing dinner somewhere and having a chat afterwards, that way if someone such as yourself travels a distance its not a waste of time.

Because yes, everyones dash is needed because everyones dash is different in its own way

Richie, I know time is against you and its against me in June grrr. Are you able to do the 27th June? Saturday afternoon??

I have a stocktake on at work but Im usually done by about 3:30/4:00.

I think I have a spot in Silverwater just off Silverwater road. Its out of the way from trouble, central to everyone (ie M4, Parramatta Road, Pennant Hills Road are all 5 mins from the location) and will allow us to get photos in our own time. I should be able to make it there by about 4:30, which is the time now and the suns just setting, so perfect for some daytime/night time shots, and from memory theres a water view (of sorts, not real good) for some external photos.

I've emailed Phreddy about picking up some of those footwell lights, and the rest, lol, might even be able to have them sort of temporarily installed for a photo of them, the fronts - (probly a few people have them installed already?) and the rears - under the front seats - (not sure if many people have them in there??)

That depends on how busy Greg is, if he has any spare time, well maybe not 'spare time' just 'not as busy tme' lol (which i'd imagine he'd be fairly busy seeing how he just got back from melb..?)

also been meaning to meet greg. and have a chat. from what everyone says your a good bloke

and as a thought for the colour changing needles. if we were to go somewhere. and rev the cars im sure the cops wouldnt be too far away. maybe a camera man in the back seat and the driver/owner of the car to get some good vids/pics of the dash in action. although you would need a fairly smooth road so the pictures dont go blurry

ladies, just letting you know this needs to happy pretty soon for me to be involved.... once bub is here I doubt I'll be leaving the house much unless the photo shoot is held in the carpark @ glenquaries shopping centre lol...

If I can't be there I am more than happy to lend you guys my tri-pod and headrest mount for the job..

Happy to help out.

I'm looking at visiting Phreddy next weekend (15-16 Aug) to get some more Blue LED footwell lighting and a mode switch fixed up.... after that I'll pretty well have the whole interior works and jerks done ready for photos.

Silverwater is good - centralised and easy to get to. Saturday or Sunday nights are good - during the week I'm unavailable due work.
