I have also been trying to get in contact for weeks to get a lighting kit. Is there a number we can reach you on or something. This is very frustrating!

K_Dog - the mailboxes are usually checked several times daily - unless I'm indisposed or for some other reason cannot check. (and I was crook for a few days - a few days ago...)

As you can appreciate guys, Greg is a one man show, and no massive overheads hence his prices and knowledge are awesome. On the downside, because he is always so busy, sometimes the correspondence can take a while, but trust me once you get it done, it will be all worth it.

Well, I've given up.
After sending of my first pm over a month ago, then a follow up pm, then an email through the ASR site, then posting in this thread - i'm not very inclined to hand over any parts or car to get this done anymore for fear of no contact. Sorry, but I'll have to spend to $200-$400 elsewhere (not sure the exact amount). It's a shame, but I believe if you're going to advertise your services in a forum, and offer these services, the least you would do is get back to potential customers - OR - post a message stating you are just too overworked (which we would understand btw) with all the demand, and therefore will not be taking on new work for x months. Just my opinion so you don't lose too many customers and end up with a business (that you obviously enjoy and want to do), with no customers. Toeludeu |

Im sure you've read on here be patience. Greg is currently here in victoria for the next week doing his road show just to let you know. He potentially is comming back late next week friday at most & does take over a week at home recovering from the trip, so just hang in there. We all did & we got rewarded for our patiences.

Just letting you know guys, Greg recieves alot of mail (spam + legitimate emails) which can take him some time to get back to you about, so please be patient.
We are in the processing of getting the new website up and running which will have a much improved FAQ's section which should solve most questions....

Please understand that I have to spread myself pretty thin. I do apologise Toeludeu, I do recall your PMs coming in, and the email - but for a while I've been prepping for this trip to Melbourne too. I have to build boards, make cables, prep LEDs, contact all those on the trip schedule, arrange quotes, and in the meantime keep my own household running. In addition I've been working on a couple of the other "behind the scenes" aspects of this whole thing - Richie talked about the web site upgrade, that's just one of them. I don't charge big prices, so this level of prep time is necessary for now.
How about someone throwing me 20 grand as an investment, so I can start ordering my stock already prepped?? Yeh, didn't think there would be too many people putting their hands up for THAT. I could belt my prices way up to buggery so I can try to make sufficient profit to launch into this philosophy - I prefer to keep it affordable. I've had a couple of slaps from guys who ran out of patience now - well, that I have to accept I guess. The endless streams of emails asking questions which are already answered - between the website and forum threads - is becoming frustrating though. If you don't trust sending me a head unit and money, then DON'T. But if you do believe at least some of what you read on these forums, you would know that I would NEVER screw a customer over like that. That simple. One man, one pair of hands. I don't do speed, so I'm not able to stay up for three days working non stop - although sometimes that seems like a good idea.....

Greg, you do great work and there are many people that praise you for doing it so dont worry about the inpatient people that dont know what there missing.

hey Greg just a thought here but would it help out a bit if you got someone to look after your enquiries ala a customer service type person?? At least that way customers have someone to talk too whose constantly online, and who can keep them updated with your progress or with their enquiries as well as price things up and answer questions. It will also help filter out the rubbish from the genuine enquiries which means you would be more free to focus on everything else
I think with the sudden rush in people wanting work done, and it only being one bloke to do everything, your going to start to struggle to do everything yourself, unlike 12 months ago when it was far more quieter. Anyways send me a PM or give me a call if your interested in my idea, I may be able to help out
