do you make chips for them.
alos how much would thye be?
and how much power would they give?

Hey,

Sorry can't help you at the mo, unless it's a supercharged engine with a
memcal PCM.

Hi HDT_aero,

Yes VT's have a memcal PCM in both N\A & supercharged and tuning them is
no problem, where as the VX N\A models were a flash PCM and there is no
factory engine management software available at this stage, However give it six months time it could possibly all be a goer, as the flash software is currently being developed.

has the software been developed for the vx pcm as yet? if so,
1. what sort of gain can be achieved on a stock vx n/a 6?
2. if planning other basic mods, should be mods be done prior to doing the pcm or doesn't it matter?

Hi vy low, the good news is that i have already modified assembled and tested a real time development Pcm for both VX and VY flash, the tuning software is complete but not as yet tested.
So at the moment we are just waiting on some additional software to be written that allows you to flash the modified program into the original pcm without having to modify your box at all, once this stage has been completed and tested, the whole system needs to be tested and debugged before it can be used commercially, time wise we could be looking at approx three to six months.

I've got a 2000 WH Stato with an N/A V6. Would I have the VX chip or the earlier VT chip as I'm interested in getting the a new chip for her.

Hi Sphinx, not quite sure on the stato v6 of that vintage, but the easiest way to tell is, pull the kick panel of the passenger side and have a look at the co;our of you PCM's plugs.
IF the plugs on the computer are blue and pink it will have a programmable chip but if they are a bone colour then it's a flash box.

Hey just wondering if the VS series has a memcal PCM and if so would it be worthwhile tuning a stock VS ute with exhaust? Is there any power to be made or is it near its limits?
