perhaps a few questions need to be asked to shed some light on the idea, like:
How much?
Performance increase?
Tuning?
Boost applications? eg instead of converting to MAP...
any others?

I wonder, ig we get enough of us behind this, will a company do a mail order mafless? I dont really want to pay $1000 for it, especially if i can install a MAP sensor and the tuning is done already.

mail order tunes are ok but ya can't beat a few hours on a dyno or on the street. 900 bucks for a dyno LS1 tune regardless of maf or mafless. Expect a V6 to be the same really, but I've never seen a mafless V6 setup. C.O.M.E racing do a mafless setup but that's with twin throttles.

Any sort of mail order tune for an Ecotec would be nice, for people who want more efficient stockers. My immediate family alone would take 3 instantly
And I'm running a mail order greenfoam tune on my 5L, I think they're worth doing and honestly wouldn't bother with a dyno tune unless a mail order one causes problems!
Just my 2c worth ...

Firstly the Mafless tune will have to come from a company with the experience and then with a large enough database to cover all the little things that people have installed or want to be covered by the tune.
I only know of one who is doing Kalmaker Mafless tunes for Ecotec L36 at present. Check with ManIac ....... he has Mafless tune

Don't care enough just personally to go mafless, since I'm not asking with respect to my own car. Parents and sister would probably be interested in a generic tune to suit 95RON for better fuel efficiency (massive amounts of highway driving) and really aren't bothered too much with performance.

Dr Bob on this forum does them, also a number of tuners around do them, I got one from POWERCHIP and another from PERFORMANCE WEST. Chiptorque also do them, umm yer. Stick away from ebay ones, they are not the greatest.
