Steps on installing an amp in VX

hey all. i was just wondering if anyone could tell me the best way to instal an amp in the boot of my vx. like the best ways to run the cable from the battery and so on.

Hey dude,
I've got three amps in my boot. I put them up under the parcel shelf. Cant see them at all when the boots open. As for running the cables, i ran the power cable up the passenger side. There is a grommit in the fire wall behind the suspension tower, i ran the cable through that. Then under the scuff plates, you'll need one of those star bits to get them up.
The RCA's I ran down the other side, under the plates aswell.
Then i removed the back seat, feed the cables through to the boot. Speaker cables i ran up each side, and through the exisiting parts.

Hi Guys Is there any problem installing the amps upside down on the parcel shelf ?? I was going to do the same but was told its not recommended by a couple of Audio places ??

I'm an installer and I do it all the time. The entire parcel shelf will act like the heatsink. Instead of the amp casing.
