I'm looking to get a DVD double din touchscreen headunit and I know that heaps of people have them. I'm looking for one under $1000 (preferably around the $500-$700 mark) that is a name brand and produces good quality sound and displays well.
Thoughts anyone?

Maybe have a look at one of those one's off Ebay, Eanon's, their always on the first page. I visited the supplier's website not long ago, and there actually not that bad (for the money their going for). My opinion anyway....
Nah...eonon stuff is crap, installed a HEAP of their gear for customers who bought their stuff. I reckon 80% of customers ring me back within a few weeks and say the unit has stuffed up somehow.....then they end up buying a brand name product anyway![]()

Oh well that's good to know, ive only visited there site, and viewed there products there. And just judging by thier features they looked allright, but i guess you get what you pay for dont you.....
Yeah, i had a look at those ebay products a while back and they seem ok for the money but they sorta seem to just satisfy the wank factor of the touchscreen. They have a really bad res too. I'm looking at either pioneer, alpine (if i can find one cheap enough) or Clarion. However, if there is another very good name brand that I've missed and falls into my price bracket, I'll have a look.
