2 Din?

Hi. I waas just wondering the VT stock headunit is a 2 din size? will a 2 din DVD headunit fit straight (professionally installed) of course. thanks

Just a quick question. Does a Double DIN head unit fit on a VY. Does it need any special fittings etc. Also how easy is it do yourself rather than getting it done professionally.
Will something like this fit straight away

A 2 DIN unit will fit into a VY, but you will a facia kit.

Its not overly complicated, but does require some skill to install the facia kit and new head-unit, not to mention the wiring side of things, if youre not confident then i would suggest taking to to a pro.

Hey mate, yeah a 2 din player will fit straight in pretty easily. I've got a Clarion 2 din player in my VX and it fits perfectly. I had someone install it though.
