FM transmitter quality is terrible, sorry

I have a Pioneer headunit with direct iPod control which is awesome.

Hey mate, did you get those PMs i sent you about fitting the amp?

Also, youve got a stock head-unit? first thing you wanna do is get rid of that mate....head-units with 3.5mm aux inputs are under $100 these days, true, you have to control the ipod from the ipod itself but beats buying a FM transmitter and having crappy sound.

Good to hear you got that guide. Didnt take too long at all

Depending on the model of head-unit, if it has a stacker input you can buy adaptors that have 2x RCAs as an input, then all you need is a 2x RCA to 3.5mm adaptor and youre away.....but once again it dosent let you control the ipod from the h/u.

If you want to control it from the h/u, you'll be looking at around $200 minimum i beleive.

i have the blaunkput single cd unit...is it possible to use an "auxillary input converter" on the back of these???

also, will it affect the controls on the steering wheel?
