hey guys
My mate calls me today and tells me to come round and help install the following into his VE SSV:
Now my problem is that you have to turn the speakers right up to get the RIGHT speaker to evan make a noise and its mainly bass, kinds sounds like its clipping (i think) and sounds really shit and the LEFT speakers seems find bah the amp hasent been tuned.
Can anyone think what is wrong with the RIGHT speaker?
I did the useal:
Disconected battery
Took all panals off
Removed main wiring loom from stock h/u / ICC
Cut the wires to the speakers and ran the signals back to inbuilit LOC
+ve
-ve
Got REM from ciggi light up front
Ran all the new speaker wires from doors to amp.
The Specs:
Alpine type S 6.5" (in line shitty crossovers for the tweeters
Orion Cobalt 2ch 300w amp (this has high level inputs, so you don't have to use LOCs. Although in the high level input loom there is your standard 4 wires (2xLeft 2xFront) and extra 1 wire which is black it says it is for earth which i have never seen before but grounded it to the chassis anyway)
Now i didnt actually wire up the doors so i cant account for the speakers being wired 100% correctly, but ill assume they have been.
Please Help
