Hey everyone,
Just recently purchased a 2007 Commodore VE Omega. I wish to put this amp

It is a very good amp, I have used it on my old car. I am getting a decent sub in the next days to come. I don't really want to replace the stock Blaupunkt with a aftermarket headunit.
So... How do I go about using that amp with a sub? How much will the wiring cost? I am planning to have it in the boot but because of the LPG tank im guessing it will be a lot harder?
You will need to buy a line out converter (LOC) they range in price and quality, from $20 to a few hundred. Although using it for sub-bass duties you wont need a top of the line one. LOCs are designed to turn high outputs from your stereo (speaker wires) into low outputs (RCA cables). Basically this means you can keep your standard stereo and connect an amp or more into the system.
The wiring will cost around the $100 mark (4awg power/earth cabling, RCAs and remote cable).
Do a search on mounting a sub/amp into the boot with a LPG tank, some have some great ideas and worthwhile considering. You bass output will suffer a little because of the tank, but provided your not after huge amounts of bass you will be right.

oh thanks for that. Do you think places like JB Hi Fi is good to do this type of thing? How much do you think it will cost altogether.
Thank you
