g'day everyone
was going through the boxes for the stereo last night and i found this...
It came with the dvd player (Pioneer AVH5950DVD), and it looks to have an auxillary jack at one end with an earthing point, and an adapter on the other end, in the silver box.
Obviosuly the unit is working fine without it, but intrigued to know what it is.
cheers

The VZ is here! About time!
It's a Pioneer optic fibre adapter for use with Pioneer products that use optical cables.
cheers mate.
stupid question, but what are some things i would pair it up to?

I'm not sure if there is any Australian Pioneer products that use optical anymore... It was generally equalisers, DVD players and some old high end stackers.
ah no worries bud, so it's pretty useless to me then?
