hey i just bought a 15inch fusion sub
on the sub there are like 2 out puts spots
one side 2 terminals other side 2 terminals
whats what?
thanks
Dual input voice coil by the sounds of it.
True. The way to wire it up depends on what ohms you want to run it at.
This is the only pic I can find, but it shows how to wire a dual 4ohm voice coil sub so it presents a 2ohm load to the amp:
This is the stuff that confuses me so I won't go into alternatives but one of the other guys will
I think wiring dual 4ohm coils in series gives 8ohms??

We could tell you how to connect the subwoofer to an amp but firstly we'll need the link / specs of the amplifier youre planning to use.
Philthy is kinda right there.
Presuming its a 4 ohm Dual Voice Coil Subwoofer:
Wired in parallel (both +s and both -s connected to each other, then connect one + and one - to the amp) will give you a 2 ohm load on the amp.
Wired in series (join one + and the opposite - together, then the remaining + and - go to the amp) will give you an 8 ohm load.
150db in a commodore =
Hmm...yeah I meant series doubles the load...I told you this just leaves me confused and saying silly things.
I'll edit that previous post to avoid confusion
