my boss was cleaning out his shed and found these.
he reckons they are about over 5 years old.
they look in pretty good condition and he said they used to pump out hard.
they are 2 10" Kenwood subs in this big heavy box
just wondering if i could maybe
-chuck this whole box in the tray and hook it up to an amp??
-put one or two in the fuel tank compartment??
i alrwady have 2 apline type s subs heading my way that i will mount in individual boxes behind each of the seats in the cabin.
any ideas thanks![]()
i wouldnt do anything with them.
If your going to have 2 subs in the cabin already (and decent ones) then there's really nothing you could do with these. Their old, and probably crap anyway, and wouldnt be worth your time and effort, plus any cost associated, installing them anywhere...
cheers mate,
im probably gonna flog them off on ebay in that case.
thanks
I'd definately not bother.
Subs in the tray are only good if you're fully shick and like to play music for everybody around you.
In the cabin you'll barely hear them, and you'll end up having your window down in 2 degree weather so u can hear your "fully sick sub"!
One of them can be put into the long range tank hole, with good effect. Thats how I've got my ute setup, but tbh, if you're getting 2 alpines to go behind the seats, you're not gonna need/want these, so flog em off on ebay or somefin.
2x alpines behind the seats, you'll be lucky if you need any audio gear, once ya ears start bleeding you tend to want quiet
