Option Audio 1500rms amp ?

Well i have got 2 12" L7's. I am looking at getting 2 OA 1500rms amps and running 1 amp per sub @ 2ohm and the would see 900rms.

Never using OA gear before and no one i know has any of it's gear.

I would like to know if the amps will last heaps of SPL comps and daily bumping ?

Cause i have got alot of mixed messages from people saying that, they are crap and they only do 1150rms @ 1ohm and like 400rms @ 2ohm. And other people have been telling me that they are the best amp and they do well over rated RMS then what the box says.

So if any one has got one or 2 of these and/or done a bench test of this amp could you help me out cause i want to run these amps for a few years or until i get bored and upgrade again.



So if any one know's and good/bad information about the amps please tell.

They've been used by a few people on MEA, probably best to ask there, if you haven't already...

I've never heard of them mate, But i doubt that any amp will ever produce over the rated RMS power.
Those figures are usually produced in the perfect environment, which is uber hard to replicate.

Most good brands will test their amps at 12v, so when running at 14v in a car they generally can produce more power.

well i have decided to go with the ultra rare Fusion jonah lomu series amp. Produces over 1700rms @1ohm and i can get 2 of these for $300 each when they are worth over $800 each, lol.

So thank's any way stoneX and smurf. But nothing beat's old skool amps
