What brand / model head-unit do you have?

Sometimes you will need to hold the source or power button to get the unit to turn on.

Have you tried to push the "ON" button on the headunit ?

If you have, have a look for blowen fuses and also have a look at the ground where the Headunit grounds to, just to see if it ark out and leaves a black burn mark aorund the ground.

Yeah i was going to suggest holding down the source button, which is required when first installing the unit or disconnecting the battery....

Have you got a test light or mulitmeter? If not go and buy one, they come in handy Then test the constant and acc wires on the headunit for power (obviously test acc with the key on). If they show up power then check each fuse under the steering wheel (there should be two for the radio.....one for constant and the other for acc).

When I do have a tstlight but I was in such a rush I didn't check the one in the back of the unit with it.. plus the eath on the lights a little bent because i keep leavinging it on the door hinge and closing the door -.-

I'm unfamiliar with the pioneer head units as it came with the car and I don't particicualarly like it lol. But I will try the source button
