is it worth it buying an amp to run two pionear 6x9 that run at 85rms?

I may be getting a free amp in which case I would wire them up but I'm not sure if its worth buying an el cheapo one or not?

I would be amping the fronts before the rears, but if you aren't running a sub then you will probably benefit from amped 6x9's

Yeah as Philty said if youve got a sub then theres probably no point.....better off to get some good splits for the front and amp them.

If you havent got a sub, yeah it would be worth it......basically you'll get more volume and a bit more bass output....it would also depend on the amp in question too, some very cheap amps sound worse (and put out less power) then an aftermarket head-unit.
