WF is the woofer, soo conect that to the speaker
TW is tweeter, soo connect that to the tweeter
IN is the imput, soo u run ur speaker cable from the sorce eg headunit or amp to this, then that signal is split thru the crossover for high/low for the speaker/ tweeter

Thats right, but do Type-R's have tweeter adjustment in the crossover? I know Type-x's had jumpers to compensate for different angles/distances between the woofer and tweeter, as well as another set for tweeter level adjustment.
If it does, you might be able to fiddle around and end up with a good sound but mine was quite complex with a combination of 2 or 3 jumpers being moved around to about 5 different positions depending on the installation.

I guess it depends how fussy you are with your music. I spent about 3 hours yesterday fiddling with compressor and eq settings for a party tonight so I'd say I'm pretty picky.

When I was setting mine up, I couldn't tell anything was wrong, but then I measured the distances and angles and set up the jumpers right and it all kind of just fell into place.
