As many of you guys may have noticed I dont know much about sound systems, so I have another question. I have just got two pioneer 6x9s to tide me out until I can afford the system I really want. The spces on them are80w nom 440w max and I was thinking of running a two channel jaycar response that runs at 2x 80 wrms, will this do them good? is there a chance I can break them running them with the amp?

    Cheers

Nope that amp is good. 80wrms per speaker from amp, 80wrms speakers, seems like a good match to me.

weren't you in the market for a 4 channel not long ago?
I have to ask, why the emphasis on amping the rear speakers?
You need to concentrate on the front stage. If your keen on amping the rear aswell, then the Jaycar 4 x 100 i reccomended for you, will be far better suited to your needs. It provides more power per channel, and will leave you a little headroom above the rated input power of your speakers. This means the amp will also run more efficiently.

The reason i have told you so much about concentrating on the front, anything reproduction of sound, will sound better coming from in front of you, compared to from behind you. Imagine if you and i were having a conversation, and you were to turn around and face your back to me. Now try to imagine what my voice (the sound stage) would sound like. Now think, why would i want my largest, loudest, and most powerful speakers mounted behind me?

Well I just got 6x9s and I want to amp them till I can afford subs. I don't remember being in the market for a 4 channel? but I dunno lol. The fronts are just the stock 4" till I can find good ones in that size or till I buy my door pods.. or both if I could run a 4 channel for fronts or two for rears? But soon I want to upgrade but I only got these because I currently have no rear speakers at all... I broke them.
