Default Front Door Gromits - VT - HOW!?

Hey all, just bought some new Hertz splitz to put in my VT, got the door skin off no worries mounted the tweeter in the stock tweeter part, but having alot of trouble getting the wires through the door gromit any ideas would be great, ive ran it through the door, throught the black soft plastic stuff but can't get it into the gromit to the inside of the car, I've been trying for the last half an hour feel like im banging my head against a brick wall!

    Thanks!

You'll need to remove the side part of the dash, where the vents join the door ones. Look inside the vents on the dash sides and you'll see screws, undo them plus maybe a screw or two on the underside on the dash and take that panel off. You then should be able to see the wires going through into the grommit.

I can get to the gromit, just cant move the gromit to get the wires through or even feed the wires through the gromit, it seems to be like a closed one with the wires seperatly fed throught seperate holes meeting to the other side, i can't find a gap to feed the wires through.

Also another question, I want to amp the speakers but I think I only have 1 set of RCA out which is running to the amp that runs the sub (only a 2 channel amp). Is there anyway possible to make it work without changing the head unit or buying a 4 channel amp?

How did you do it. I just ended up removing the grommit from the chassis and the door and feeding it through straight.

Thats pretty much what I did, popped the gromit out few layers of electrical tape and jammed the grommit back in with the wire outside it, not the best way I'm sure but kinda difficult to do it any other way, I didn't want to go drilling into the car knowing my luck i'd drill through something and kill the computer
