vs 5 litre amp wire

hi all,

just bought a vs ss and was installing all my new stereo and now im having a problem finding sum where in the engine bay to put the amp wire through can anyone help?

Apparently you can get it through a grommet behind the glovebox, but I've never had to look for it so I can't be much more help than that

its a manual and yeh i cnt c no grommet iv done it on 6 cyc vn but never an 8 so yeh

As you cant use the clutch cable grommit there is another option. A Philthy said the main grommet behind the glove box. Under the engine bay on the passenger side you'll see the main loom going through a huge grommit on the firewall. What you need to do is drill a hole through the grommit and then thread your cable through. You have to be VERY careful not to drill into the wiring loom, the grommit itself is like 3.5" wide and the loom is about 1", so youve got room around the outside to drill a hole and run the cable through.

Its a huge pain to do but can be done.

haha i feel like a ****ing idiot now went out this morning and found the grommet some one has painted it the same color as the engine bay ohh well shit happens all god now thanks guys .
