    Default Wiring a EH

    ok ladies n gents.

my mate and I are installing his sisters sound into her Holden EH special.

as the car has been completely stripped it does not have any Audio wires in it.
so the car is going to have 4 speakers running directly off the head unit. all sony explode stuff, i just want to know if i have this right so im sure i know what im doing.

so REM goes to battery, Power goes to ignition( just spiced into the ignition?) then speakers and antenna and then the rest are wrapped off and left alone. correct?

id also like some advice on power wire gauge and fuse choice? its a very basic system so its not going to be pulling monster amps. so yeah, advice and am i doing it right?

No, the yellow wire needs to go to constant power (preferably run a dedicated wire from the battery, fused within 30cm of the battery). The red wire needs to go to ignition, just find a wire that turns on with the ignition and turns off when you turn the ignition off. Also earth, just find a solid bit of metal and screw it to that (shouldnt be too hard in an EH lol).

Wire choice, well the stereo will draw about 10 amps, so any suitable 10 amp cable will be fine.....and a 10 amp fuse
