i have a really really bad ' noise ' really really loud , coming from my speakers (reacts to the fuel pump)
i have tried SO many things to get rid of it, you name it i done it
has anyone tried replacing the fuel pump and it has gone away
or should i invest in the expensive item to get rid of it

thanks guys for having a look and helping me out
please let me know what you think, even if ya not sure a idea is an idea and still helps me out
Try shifting the earths on your amplifiers to a different part of the car. The fuel pump is in very close proximity to where most people stash their audio gear though so, perhaps an amp is lacking in the internal shielding department.
Check out my VP right 'ere!
hey thanks for the reply
yeah tried all the earths i can find that are close by, even from battery. also tried few amps still no go
That part looks like a waste of money in my opinion. When I ran that amp I had absolutely no noise/interference issues at all. There has to be something that you have looked over that is causing the problem.
Just take it back to basics to try and pinpoint the problem, run one set of speakers off the amp, try a different head unit if you can (pioneer units are known to easily blow their fuses) or at least try a different set of rcas.
Have you upgraded your power wiring yet? From what I recall the power wiring I saw in your car was pretty thin.
does abit, yeah pin pointed to fuel pump, noise has always been around, upgraded the wiring to a much bigger size, i have had 4 different units in there, just keep upgrading. different rcas
bigger better shielded, lol as you can see i have had this problem a while lol grrr annoying
if the RCA cable is near any power wire it will cause it to whine also if the headunit ground isnt that good.
The fuel pump wiring runs down along the scuff plates on the drivers side of the car by the way, which side are your RCAs on?
Tried unplugging the RCAs from the amp and seeing if you're still picking up a whine?
Running a proven set temporarily through the middle of the car to the back of the unit?

This problem can be made from unrelated shit dying or an amp failing, magnetic induction, poor installation among other things.
I take it the noise is made when the engine is running?
You disconnected the battery before installing the amplifiers so nothing shorts when connected ay?
Try disconnecting the wires to the amp that is powering the speakers the whine seems to be coming from. If it stops, try a known good amp in its location to try to isolate it to that amp, if it does it with that amp as well that narrows it down to a problem with the wiring/installation or some other electronic device in the vehicle.
Do your RCA's have shield grounds?
How have you narrowed it down to the fuel pump??
That box is way overpriced!, most likely it contains a basic parallelling circuit and a small capacitor/s which when combined with the 'hot-earth kit' will be what makes the difference. If you must, save yourself some money and get a Inazuma version (around $65), some 4ga cable and note the difference for yourself. If you have a audio capacitor then the poofteenth extra capacitance gained from the stabilizer unit will be negligible anyway.
rcas are on the left side, my power is on the right, also upgraded the earth size on the head unit
