I've been told that a monoblock is the way to go with amping subs, but I justg got two 12" 200 wat rms subs for nothing, so figure hell I may as well put em in and just buy a cheap amp to power them till I can afford something realy good. So my question is, Could I just use a two channel to do it? would I need to bridge it? if so can someone explain how to go about that?

generally, you're gonna get what u pay for, unless you know some people.
Bridging involves using the positive from one channel and the negative from the other channel. If it's a cheap amp, fair chance it won't handle under 2ohm, so ensure you don't parallel all the voice coils![]()
Wat are the subs, brand modle etc.
By the sounds tho cheap xplod mono will do, mite not like 2ohm that much when up loud, thats if there 4ohm subs
Wouldn't have a clue I found them in the garrage dad assures me there atleast 10 years old..
id be lookin for what ever u can find for buggar all if u really want to power them, the spiders will most likely rip once they start to move tho, sitting around for that long.
They've never been used! The senile old bugger doesn't even remember why he bought them.. =/
Yeah i was just gonna buy a cheapie off egay, seen them workin' n they go alright 4 what you pay for 'em.
Yeah they will work ok, just buy a 2 ch. amplifier that you can bridge. Just connect the two +s and two -s together and run them to the amp.

Yeah, just connect the subs speaker terminals together:
sub1 - to sub2 -
sub1 + to sub2+
Then out to the amp.
