ok so i really like novanation, used to listen to it online sometimes. The other day i found out it plays on the new digital radio broadcast.
I have the following head unit laying around -->http://www.datastore.com.tr/media/48...-CD3300-GB.pdf
It says it is a Digital RDS Tuner, i can pick up the usual commercial stations and they do display info such as a descriptive name like Nova 937 which the digital radios do and i think there may be a few extra stations im getting but i cant get Novanation and a few other new ones such as RADAR...just wondering if anyone knew whether the head unit is actually a Digital (DAB?) tuner...it seems really old n as far as i know digital radio is only new
I cant really work out how to manual tune this thing and on a proper digital radio i couldnt work out how the frequencies work cos they all seem to be on some magical frequency of 204.68mhz or something n they tune by name noit frequency :S
Anyway really just wanted to know if this deck can get digital radio n why i cant get these new stations cos i dont wanna put it in if it cant as it is quite ugly and old, then again its got a lot of neat features..
VR through to VX wrecking in WA, must get rid of these!

No. Your deck by itself cannot get DAB or DAB+.
There is currently NO single or double DIN head units that will receive DAB+ for Australia.
To get DAB+ on any head unit in Australia, you need to purchase the Pure Highway One. Mounts via a suction cup, recieves DAB+ stations, and retransmits via FM radio. This all but negates any higher quality broadcasts that DAB+ provides, but still allows you to access the DAB+ stations.
