Default Help! Wiring 6" Kevlar speakers/tweeters from jaycar

    hey,
    i just got these
Kevlar series 6-inch component speakers - Jaycar Electronics
It is all straight forward besides the tweeter, the negative obviously goes to the negative,

    but the positive i have 3 choices, +3db +0db or -3db

    what one do i choose?

Start at 0. +3 makes the tweeters 3db louder, -3 makes them 3db quieter. Its depends where the tweeters are mounted and personal preference really.

What Azzfox said. The 3 posts are to make the tweeters a little bit louder or softer. Which one you use depends on mounting location and personal preferance to what you think sounds best

-3dB with the left tweeter connected 180º out of phase (connect it backwards) sounded best to me with my 6.5" response splits. Also go for a drive to test them out because road noise can drown out your bass/midrange a bit making your tweeters seem too loud.
